"Jesus Loves Even Me" Autoharp, Harmonica, Guitar, Piano
Autoharp, guitar, harmonica, and piano accompany the singers on this great old hymn by Philip Paul Bliss.
Bliss wrote this hymn after attending a service where "O How I Love Jesus" was sung. He said afterward, "Have I not been singing enough about my poor love for Jesus and shall I not rather sing of His great love for me?" From this thought came this hymn.
Bliss wrote many hymns including "Almost Persuaded," "Dare to Be a Daniel," "Hallelujah, What a Savior," "Hold the Fort," "It is Well With My Soul," and "Wonderful Words of Life."
He died at the young age of 38 after a train wreck. Although he survived the initial crash, he was killed when he went back in the burning wreckage to try to rescue his wife.
